Who we are
NeoSupport Senegal Inc. is a New York State not-for-profit corporation working to strengthen neonatal care in Senegal. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
What we collect
Only what you choose to give us through our forms: your name, email address, optional phone number, the topic of your enquiry, your message, and event sign-up details. We do not collect payment card details — donations are processed by our donation partner Zeffy under its own privacy policy.
Why we use it
To answer your message, coordinate volunteering and partnerships, manage event attendance, and keep records required by law. We rely on your consent, which you give when you submit a form, and on our legitimate interest in running our charitable programs.
Who can see it
Only authorised NeoSupport team members, through a password-protected admin area. Our website and database are hosted by trusted service providers who process data on our behalf. We never sell, rent or trade your information.
International transfers
Our data is stored on servers that may be located outside Senegal, including in the United States. By submitting a form you consent to this transfer, which we carry out with appropriate safeguards in line with Senegal's Law No. 2008-12 on the protection of personal data.
How long we keep it
Messages and sign-ups are kept only as long as needed for the purpose they were given, and generally no longer than three years, unless the law requires longer.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to its use, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. Residents of Senegal may also contact the Commission de Protection des Données Personnelles (CDP). We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you choose to view the site in French, a small cookie remembers your language choice, and the translation service (Google Translate) may process the page text.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and row-level permissions so that only authorised staff can read submitted information.
